shirt tuck tips
Any tips on keeping my shirt tucked in the back with a crisp 'military' tuck? I can somewhat get it by myself with little slack, but once I start moving around it looks bad.
I've heard of using shirts stays but could be a bad idea incase one pops off while doing pushups. (ouch)
Thanks.

the nut poppers are the best way to go but as you mentioned there is some risk.

expecting trouble?" "No Ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have

You could always super-glue the tail to your butt.

I used to use a "hidden tailor" that I got from Galls. It worked pretty well. It's a rubber band that goes around your shirt inside your pants, and has rubber fingers sticking out against your pants to keep stuff from sliding around.

Hidden Tailor + having a tailor actually adjust your shirt for a proper fit. That way you don't look like a fart sack full of door knobs.

When I was in explorers I used to wear two pairs of underwear and tuck my shirt into one of them.
It worked pretty damn well. Lol.

Ok, I'm going to make three points:
1. I second the recommendation for the hidden tailor.
2. "Fart sack full of door knobs" is the funniest thing I've ever heard all day.
3. Wearing two pair of underwear so you can tuck your shirt into one of them is the saddest thing I've ever heard all day.

The hidden tailor works great, but they can get uncomfortable. And "Fart sack full of door knobs" was a pretty funny comment!

I think we need some visual proof that two pairs of underwear were indeed worn.

Color me surprised.

Seriously though, that's what I call some of the trainees I see at the state training facility who are going through C/O training. They fall information, and I just wonder why these guys and girls have no self-respect. They look like they slept in their uniforms. I always wonder why they even bother with formal military-style training if they aren't going to make them keep their uniforms in order.

I used the hidden tailor for quite awhile
I didn't like it. It rode up on me, no matter how tight I made it. And if I made it too tight, it was uncomfortable. No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13

I have used a pair of the elastic thingys since day one (nearly 4 years now).. they have stretched a bit but are the best. Have ever been snapped in the sack by one popping off.
I used the rubber hidden tailor belt, which I really liked too, but also found it bunched up more than the shirt to sock elastic thingys. Both of mine broke too- the buttone tore off on one after a month, the other after three- went back to the elasticys
That, and as mentioned, get the shirts tailored to fit- amazing how much better it looks with all the excess gone. There are only two kinds of real justice left: street and poetic...
