Thanks for the reply. Im going to a job fair in Baton Rouge tomorrow and one of the recruiters is going to look my app over.
Im just looking for info on what to study for the written exam, how to prepare for the oral board (not too worried about this because as an NCO in the army i have been to many promotion and competition boards), and overall how long the procees usually takes from application to academy.
I would like to know for the oral board should I wear a suit or wear my class A army uniform.

That test is the absolute pits,several years ago I took the general one,it was 90% math and went from 1+1 to square roots:doh: didn't do well at all as math is my worst subject.Quote:

I agree. I think wearing your Army Class A's would be a bit tacky. A suit and tie should be good enough. Make sure you have a copy of your DD214.Quote:

If you are no longer in the military I would use wearing your class A uniform as a tool to try to make you uncomfortable and gauge the responce. Written exam is general knowlege, study an ACT book was advice I was given.
Hiring process usually takes 4-6 months, depending on Academy dates.
