Anyone who does CVE in New York State (looking especially for Westchester County or elsewhere downstate) please message me.

(I am a Police Officer who has lost count how many weeks I have been waiting to get verified).

I can tell you exactly how long you've waited. April 1st, 2007 you put in your PM for verification, and it was assigned to a Moderator. Your verification was near complete, however, was not finished because the Moderator (Lazy Fed) never got the message that he left for you, at your place of employment. So that is NOT our fault. Return our messages, or tell your employers how to properly give messages to others. Either way, to finish your verification, PM Lazy Fed for further.

I've been using email since the mid eighties so I should know better than anyone about having written words mis-interpreted, but I suppose I should have been a little more specific in my post.

Firstly, I apologize if any offense was taken. I was/am not mad and had already been in contact with the appropriate personnel regarding this delay in verification. I was simply trying to point out to anyone who might be replying that I am legit, although in retrospect I realize that only verification makes one "legit".

Apologies again. I am going to go paint my fence now and not enjoy the rest of my vacation.

I didn't even know they had e-mail int he mid 80s?

Actually, email existed since the sixties on what was the Internet's predecessor/father - ARPAnet, which was a project of the Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

The email I was using in the eighties was strictly internal - not many people had Internet access back then, including me.

Why do you want to know about CVE anyway? Are you part of the MTA Highway Unit? While local and state PD are patrolling your train stations?

I have questions regarding the NYC way of doing things (I worked in the confines of the five boroughs for the past 7 years - now in Westchester) vs the way things work in courts "up here".
