Why is the system geared towards women, so that the cops and courts always believe that guys beat or raped them, even if they didn't?:noidea:
Because i and i am just guessing here, is that most men that are in court for rape and abuse actually did it.
So they give everybody else a bad rep
And anyway it is Innocent until proven guilty, if you have done nothing wrong then you have nothing to wrry about
When you deal with crap everyday, most cops can smell it a mile away. We know when it is real, most of the time.
I've arrested almost as many women for domestic violence as men. I look at the evidence, not the gender. As for the courts, you'd be surprised how much one court differs from the other, and one judge.
Great example, superior court judge from where I used to work. A drug dealer was busted for smuggiling meth. He got busted because his wife called in a tip on him, he got stopped, bam found the meth. He was sentences to 7 years in prison by the superior court judge.
Well, once he was gone his wife took up the meth smuggiling trade. Then SHE got stopped and busted. She went before the same judge, exact same charges, she was sentences to probation with no prison time.
The system isn't biased, that JUDGE was biased. And there are a lot of biased judges out there.
From a domestic violence instructor. Facts, evidence, power and control, dynamics, and percentages. It's all there for the reading. Search it, you'll find a wealth of info.
Men also tend to down play the seriousness of abuse. In a violators mentality their actions should not be checked because abuse is never their fault. The victim controls their own treatment. Therefore the system seems geared toward the victim in their eyes. Keep the hands to thyself and the system doesn't get involved.
