    If you could pick your patrol car?

    If you could pick any car, truck, suv, sport etc as your patrol car, what would it be and why?

    Sports car with serious bucket seats will be bad for bailing out for a foot chase, option 2 gets my vote except it should be mixed with a 4X4 more for going off road (Joyriders here tend to get into fields/parks etc)

    Two choices - Dodge Magnum and the Hummer. If the Dodge is backordered, I'll take one Lamborghini above.

    And yep, they make a Hummer police vehicle! Pics on GM.com. My boss commented he would like to get one for the department (yeah, like THAT'S gonna happen!).

    I found the brochure for it and printed it out. I think he got a charge out of it

    Same here, bro. The Exploder does make it up there, but only if I stick to the roads. Off road - not good in winter, hell, my 10 year old Land Rover Discovery makes it where the Exploder doesn't.

    If I could have it back the way it was when it was brand new, and mount todays radios and MDC in it, I'd be one happy individual.

    Hell NO....They were fine cars in their day. But Ford has to get off their ass and up the ante. Now days everything else is getting faster, more powerful, and handles better. The Crown Vic hasn't progressed very much in the last 8 years. Now, they bring a lil somethin to the table sometime soon and I may change my mind.
