BDU Question
Where do you find the best place to purchase BDUs? The best price I have found so far is Sportsmans guide but they do not do any stitching, name etc...

Our department has used Galls, Quartermaster and we are now switching to 5.11

Depends on what kind you are looking for but I have always had good luck at the local military surplus. The prices are usually a little cheaper and there's no shipping wait. I do a little alterations on the side so hems and name tags aren't a problem. However, you could check with your local sports shop. Those businesses usually embroider for low costs.

+1 on 511 TDU BDU's they are great. What I normally wear on duty with the TDU shirt or a blue polo shirt with the name and badge embroidered on it.

Our uniform store actually purchases them for us and outs them on our allowance we wear BDU for patrol now. WE do have a Army NAvy surplus store which carries them as well.
