Ipmba
Hey guys. My question is about the International Police Mountain Bike Association and their training programs. I should have the opportunity some time in the near future to take one of their training courses for free and I was wondering if anyone else has been through one and how your experience was. Thanks

It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

My bike patorl course was taught by an IPMBA certified instructor. It was a lot of fun and a LOT harder than you could imagine. See if you can go through the shooting course. Well worth it.

I never officially took the shooting course, but when I assisted with one of the IPMBA classes, we goofed off at night and did some of the shooting classes. I was the only assistant not IPMBA certified, b/c my dept wouldn't send me to the cert class...assholes!! lol

I took the IPMBA course and was a member for several years. Good course, take it if you get a chance. All of our bike officers must be IPMBA certified.

Now I don't ride because I need to take the refresher course.
