I have watched Fox new's today and I saw a Police chase. The cops did chased a van. They boxed him off the road and the driver decided to run.

Now They catched the guy and they beat him, kicked him. Everything was on TV.
Why do cops do this? Don't they know that they might end up on TV ? What will they face on charges ? Will they be suspended or jail?

Face charges? They wil likely get a commendation. Hell, they are just doing what they are paid to do. The crook was resisting arrest.

The video I saw was biased. They don't talk about the assault on an officer and they don't show how he was in the chase before, just the police knockin him in the wall and taking him down.

Let's face it - in these types of events, the media NEVER EVER gets it right, they NEVER EVER reveal any actual facts that would tend to justify the use of force by police officers, and they NEVER EVER blame the subject. It is ALWAYS the fault of the police.
