That's why they use the initials B.S for the degree.

Retired March 2006, 20 wonderful years, well mostly wonderful years with the NYPD!
Appointed January 9th, 1986 and every day since was a learning experience!
Always keep your eyes and ears open, actually best bet is to grow eyes on the back of your head, watch your back and stay safe!

Started as a rookie trooper Mississippi Highway Patrol 1964
Road trooper sixteen years (these were the best years)
Moved up through the ranks.
Served as Troop Commander
Regional Major
Chief Uniformed Division (lt. Col.) last six years
Retired 1994 started as Chief of Police McComb, MS five days later.
Still serving in that position.
44 years so far and still not bored.
Along the way I attended the FBI National Academy 97th Session and obtained a BS in CJ.
I'll most likely retire again no later than 2010 if not before. I'll be less than three months shy of my 70th birthday at the end of 2009. If I'm still upright and mobile I think that will be enough. I have a great bunch of kids working for me and although small the town in busy enough to keep it interesting. The only real problems are dealing with the politicians. Isn't that always the case.
