Do you have a small ASP?(Goz, no need to reply!)
I'm considering "downsizing" to a smaller ASP. I currently have the 26". Does anyone here have a small ASP and how do you like it?

KCnuke has the next step down from the 26". Might want to PM him.
He seems to like it.

We have the smaller ones and the larger ones. I carry the smaller one I was issued. I generally do like it, but I also use it closed more than open. It's more intimidating open (crowds when there is a group of us), but I have found it more effective closed, especially in confined areas like a car. If I can strike with the point on a muscle mass, or if need be, a joint or side of the head, I have their attention pretty quickly.

I carry the 21" Airweight ASP. Never had to use it; it's mainly there in case I need to break glass or if the Taser malfunctions. It doesn't add nearly as much weight to the belt as the 26" steel model does.

We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

I've got a 16' with one of those no slip, ribbed for my pleasure, grips on the end. I like it. I do recommend a shiny finish for a shorter length. A little shine makes that dude look bigger than it realy is. I guess I've found a need for tricks to enhance the appearance of size. {Lowers head, sighs, and reluctantly posts confessing reply}
I'm not ruining your life, you are, and I'm just going to write a short story about it.

It's not the size that's important...it's how well you club people with it that counts
