How do you keep your shirt tucked in?

The thread about uniforms got me to thinking how do those of you who wear Class A uniforms on a daily basis keep your shirt tucked in.

I have worn the "military type" shirt stays that go from the bottom of the shirt to the socks for the entire time I have been in Law Enforcement and I love them I have been in knock down drag outs and the shirt always stays in place.

I know some of the uniform pants have material on the inside that is supposed to keep the shirt in place but I have never felt they worked that well. Others wear the elastic type belt over the shirt and they always seem to work up so you can see it in the back.

I don't use anything, and am constantly retucking my shirt in.

I have an OCD issue with keeping my shirt tight, and it drives me nuts.

I used to use an elastic underbelt, but it was horribly uncomfortable, and if my shirt did happen to come untucked it was a bitch to retuck it.

When I wear service dress without the jacket I use the garters, just like in basic. Two per leg, clip to your shirt and your socks, criss-cross them to form an "x" on the inside of the leg and keep them TIGHT. And it hurts like hell when you're at attention and one pops off into your nutsack:mad:

Where can I buy something like that?

I use the elastic belt. I make sure it's tucked down in my pants far enough it doesn't ride up out of the pants. My shirts also stay tucked, no problem. I used the elastic bands you attach to your socks, and they would pinch my skin or pull hair out. There's also the problem of them coming loose while running and snap my groin. I like the elastic waist band.

They have them in BX/PX's or clothing sales on Army and Air Force installations.

I wear these too, and if it doesn't hurt, it scares the crap out of you. Makes you think some critter has run up your pants leg.

Yea, I have almost kneed myself in the chin jerking my leg when one popped and surprised me. :D

I just stopped wearing pants. Solved the problem completely.

I wear the shirt stays. Always have since I've been in LE. I've had them snap on me but have been fortunate every time. They have always snapped from the top, so no ball snapper here,... yet anyway. They will scare the shit out of you when they go though.

I used to wear what you do until it began to give me severe headaches. Tried some other things but finally gave up. I dont use anything.

I have gotten some of my shirts tailored and that seems to help a lot. I seem to have more of a problem with long-sleeves versus short.

I use both the hidden tailor and the sissy straps, not at the same time, but for the majority I use the staps.

If I'm working days I wear shirt stays. If I'm working nights and noone is going to see me except drunks, I don't use them. They chafe my legs and if they come undone they either snap you in the balls or shoot down and you have it hanging out the bottom of your pants.
