probation / parole reqs?

My wife changed her mind about being a police officer.
She now wants to be a probation or parole officer.

She is currently back in college again and making straight As.

We were both curious if the minimum requirements for a
probation or parole officer is to have an associates or bachelors?

I understand every city is different and I would have to find out with
our HR rep here in town.

What is the typical requirement?

I would say no. However, having the degree could help get the job, start at a higher pay grade, and advance later.

Very large +1. Education is important later on in a career if you want to advance very high.
