isn't really to teach you what you don't know....but rather to teach you how to think. In that respect, almost any decent education is an advantage.

This business has lots and lots of classrooom training as well as hands on training....but you won't really KNOW the job until you actually DO the job. Most of what will save your ass isn't in a book somewhere. This job is all about people and you need to actually work with people of all kinds to learn what you need to know. I was in for 30 years and was learning something EVERY day of my career.

I went to school ( no degree) and it served me well but I made my career on brains and all of us here. If you have that and an open mind, you should be fine.
