I have to say that the "su with hands in pocket" scenario fits right in with my "Tasers vs. Hands on" post. These are perfect times for a Taser, but only if you have a back-up present to go Deadly Force if need be. There are many times when a SU does not want to comply until you point a .40 cal at him. Then all of a sudden they understand English. Unless of course they speak Spanish in which case it would be a good idea to know "Manos areba!" But usually even then, a cop pointing a gun at you is universal language for "Show me your F---ing hands!"
