Constitutional Carry?
Theres a lot of talk about Constitutional carry now. States like Arizona, Alaska and Vermont already have this type of carry. I hear Texas and Utah are strongly considering it and Wisconsin is now making a push for it. What does the blue community feel about this type of firearms carry?

They are BLUE in the face from sputtering and hacking up their Latte and choking on their egos..
BTW why are the liberal states called "blue states?" They should be called "Red", you know, the color of the communists.

I like it when good people are armed. Doesn't matter to me if it's open carry or concealed, I'm in favor of laws that make it easier for them to do so.

Think he meant the blue community as in the LEO community.
As for the carry, as long as people are not felons and not crazy I'm for it.

Five-O is correct. Blue as the "boys in blue, the thin blue line, the big blue machine, blue steel, blue heelers (?) and blue meanies (makes me think of the Beatles and the Yellow Submarine). There may be a few other blue refrences that I couldnt find

A wise old man once told me to treat every field contact as though they are armed until proven otherwise.
No big change for me.

The LEO's that get in front of the media and oppose it are normally polictically appointed and the media doesn't ask the people on the line how they feel about it.

Makes me wonder, if a line officer were to publicly state approval for something like this would they get in trouble?

Glad to see you officers are supportive

Correct. Keep in mind that law enforcement, in general, has to bend over backward daily in an attempt to please the masses and still accomplish their mission. Policies such as the above are actually common to most departments.
Many times if an officer makes a personal statement and they are identified it is automatically portrayed to be the belief or statement of the agency itself. It's a sticky line to walk for some officers to state what they believe and not have it piss off the public or the admin.Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice.
