Exterior vest carriers

i still wear my badge and nametag on my shirt. We have an embroidered badge and name on the vest carrier.

As far as providing a "target area", whenever I approach a vehicle, all they see is a target area!

I like this idea. I may try that.

Recently becoming an administrator type cop at the agency I work with I made it available to our officers to wear becuase we have an on call shift for each of the officers several days per week and this gives them the option to wear a uniformed marked shirt which also happens to double for a vest. I would go with matching colors, not sure how contrasting colors would look. Seem to be more comfortable during the hot days as well.
