Only thing I know about bomb techs is that if you see one running, try to keep up.

I don't think anyone is going to discuss law enforcement bomb tech information in public here.
If you are interested in being a bomb tech, join the military and get EOD experience. If you still have all your fingers get a college degree and join the ATF or a large metropolitan agency with a bomb squad.
