How is your time of service?
I´m a Police Officer the city of Ushuaia, Argentina, and would like to share and learn from different groups and police forces that make up this forum.
For my part I find myself as a 2 nd Officer of the Police multifunction group named Police Special Services Division, with a total of 30 men, which we play and we train them in various tasks.
Given my position 1 area K-9, 1 cavalry area, 1 riot control group, 1 group of diving, a mountain rescue group and finally a small group of tactical irruption

29 yrs as a uniformed constable (apart from a few months in plain clothes working on a terrorist incident) Beat officer and the last 18yrs as a traffic cop and all round thief taker. I hate the ticket issuing side of being a traffic cop but it does mean I get to drive the nice cars!
the sole advantage of power is that you can do more good.

In Argentina, the police are organized in 2 ranges of services, the first is the rank of officers, which after 3 years of school to pursue graduate with her first range which is AYUDANTE (ASSISTANT), the 2nd ranking non-commissioned officers who graduate from a 6-month course and meet Tares minor.
In my police force guard service is 8 pm. service for 24 hours. off-duty on most police agencies

Are you saying you work on shift for 24 hours? From 8pm - 8pm the next day?
I've got 5 years, all patrol, all at a university.

Sorry but I meant that each tour of duty is 8 hours, and we have 24 hours rest.
Provided that any intervention is not in the last moments, where we should finish the paperwork for this problem

If your question is whether the drive on which I work is similar to bope, I regret to say no.
Although I have contact with members of that panel, the BOPE belongs to the military police, have a much higher capacity and infrastructure, they work with different legal freedoms.
While in my unit only has 30 troops, today the BOPE has about 500, besides the differences in technical equipment and weapons capability.
