Thanks! I'm kinda fond of it myself.

The story ends with a simple "Thanks" from me. My partner grabbed and squeezed my buns, and said, "This ass is mine," leaving the director looking sheepish. This is what I enjoy about my senior LEOs. Creativity, tact and versatility were my lesson that day.

Not to be rude, but I sent you an email to the effect of "yes," and "none-of-your business." ANYONE who provides the personal information requested by this website is not a LEO, they are a fool. I withdraw.

"None of your business" isn't the correct answer.

Beach Biker, there are literally hundreds of LEO's here who HAVE submitted their information for verification. Their information is kept secure and confidential, and is used to discreetly verify the law enforcement position they claim to possess.

I have been doing verifications for O/R for at least four years, and have NEVER had someone who claims to be a LEO refuse to provide their information, which leads me to believe you're nothing more than a poser.

Believe me, we'd love to have you here because you seemed to enjoy keeping threads active and busy. But, if you fail to submit your information, you will promptly be banned from O/R.

As I am unsure at this point how many members of my department are members of this site, I will suffice it to say I carry a badge, carry a gun, and I ride a bicycle. Where I work, I have found that LEOs outside my workplace often don't understand all of what our work involves.

My partner is older than I, and we are a great team. He is kind of a mentor, but he respects my strengths. One day we were patrolling near the gay Surfrider State Beach, (figure that one out!). A director he knew hailed us, and invited us to his place after work to look at script for possible police drama. Now I was just the passenger on this venture. We looked at few sections of the script, and my partner gave some advice. As we left the director looked at me and said, "Nice ass."

I would be interested in hearing how some of the members here would respond to that comment? I'll share the end of that story when I hear from some of you guys.
Well I'm not sure how we got from the Tea Party and unions to this, but since you want an answer, I'll give you one. Even though I don't think your story is the complete truth and even though I'm not a cop, I think I'll be forgiven (I hope, sorry, I just noticed this was in AAC but couldn't pass).

I've been hit on just a couple times by someone who was gay(I am not). I've told them "I am sorry if you have somehow gotten the wrong impression here, but you aren't exactly my type." Simple, to the point and always works.

FWIW, I have a hard time taking you seriously, I have yet to see an introduction or anything else that new serious members do.

Sheeeit sir, you ain't even trying hard.

The site staff here has referred better efforts for prosecution.

Your refusal in public has resulted in a ban. That does *not* mean I will not keep looking.

I think Breitbart was just stating the obvious. No threat to “police objectives” exists in that statement. More Conservatives have guns than do Progs. And since the 2nd was included in the BofRs as a means to keep our government honest, I can find no problem with his statement. He spoke true. That’s one of the underlying reasons most of the gun laws restricting gun ownership are brought to the table by liberals (or RINOs…). They know they will never achieve their vision of what our government should be as long as the citizens have guns.

I don't know why you would link the shooting of Giffords with Breitbart's statement since the shooter in that instance definitely wasn't a Conservative. There is no bright line between the shooting and the comment except possibly using it as an emotional ploy to infer gun restrictions are needed.

As to liberals rethinking the 2nd, let them. Currently pro-gun folks are winning the battle though it’s still being fought.

No, the Tea Party is not part of the GOP. The Tea Party is a real grassroots movement made up of Reps, Dems, and Independent voters who object to the current path our country is headed down. The folks in it may seem confused but that’s because the tent they made is pretty big and many came with different agendas. As with the two parties, the rather diversified members can’t agree on the real issues and the right situations.
