Yes its called fresh persuit. The infraction or charge started in my jurisdiction. I therefor can persue till they stop no matter what jurisdiction they go into.
On the other hand, most agencies that persue, as soon as they hit a new jurisdiction they have radioed ahead and the agency for that area will take the lead, and I would fall back to secondary unit. Reason for that is because that agency knows the area a lot better than I do.
(also thread moved to ask a cop)
Yes sir, you can here.
Sure can...however, if my pursuit were to make it to Indiana, I would need to stop for gas:D
And have a beer with the guy too huh?
I have. I was riding with a buddy up North near the Iowa boarder and we chased some tool for having warrants and some traffic issues.
Fool stopped just past the Iowa boarder thinking we weren't going to come get him....
Dumb ass.....:D
Yup you can. But considering it's about a 5 hour drive to the Georgia Border from my county line... Well... One of us would have ran out of gas by then. :D
