Heaven on Earth

Totally unrelated to law enforcement, but well worth the question. What is the single most beautiful place anywhere on planet earth you have ever seen? I have several that come to mind, but specifically there is a lake called Rob Roy Reservoir near Centennial, Wyoming about 40 miles west of Laramie. Elk, Moose, Wolves, Mountain Lions, Wolverines, and the biggest German Brown Trout in the US. So quiet at night you can hear the elk bugle for about three miles. Sky so clear you can practically pick the stars off of it and polish them by hand. That's my heaven on earth. What's yours?:angel:

Well this is in the ask-a-cop section but I think I'm qualified to answer this one as well. ;)

I think the question can be defined in two ways, place wise, when I want to be alone, there's this spot I found down dirt roads and backwards up hills, and upside down around the corner, you get my point its in the middle of nowhere. A sunset there really brings it all home. I've been places in the world and I've seen beautiful things, but for some reason here, its simplistic, mysterious, and just special.

Otherwise, being happy with friends/family is really heaven on earth.

There ar so many, Northern Michigan, near the Pictured Rocks, Aruba is nice too. I guess wherever man has not yet ruined. But I agree with 1sgkely: my favorite place is next to my wife, wherever that might be. If we are up north or on a beach, even better.

Hawaii, on the big island, on the side of the mountain looking down across the island with the ocean sparkling in the distance.

I agree with the two members from Michigan posting to this, Northern Michigan is gorgeous no matter where you go!!!!!
