What would you do to solve the world's problems?

If you were GW for thirty days, what would you do to solve the problems of the world?

In a nutshell, here's what I would do: Issue a notice to all countries that they have 72hrs to expel all known terrorists or they will be nuked. Build the wall on the Mexican border and drop leaflets telling everyone that any human form crossing that wall illegally will be shot. Withdraw all US forces from all foreign land and regroup, planning our fights much more carefully(i.e., we really don't need military police guarding an officer's club in freakin' GUAM!) Issue an ultimatim to Iran and North Korea that they start playing nice or else they wake up tomorrow with nothing but smoldering ruins. Finally, I would give free ice cream for one day to everyone who is a US citizen for all the crap that they have been through for the last ten years. My apologies to our non-US citizen friends on this forum, but I think my peeps deserve the ice cream a lot more than the rest of you. Sorry, go find your own ice cream.:boink: :kiss:

I love the drawing in and regrouping of our forces idea. And the ice cream. I'm thinking that we've made life way too easy on certain countries, they have too much time on their hands so they sit around and think of ways of causing trouble for others. So maybe knocking them back to the stone age and making them work for their food isn't a bad idea. :)

1. Fix the budget.

Any country that owes us money or has received aid and has not made a significant contribution to help our efforts in fighting terrorism, the bill is due at the end of the month. You have three payment options: we will accept payment in dead / captured terrorists; money; or oil.

2. Fix the immigration problem.

Anyone living here illegally must report to the local immigration office within 120 days. They will have a chance to show that they are a productive member of society and will be considered for amnesty based on their contributions to our country. If they fail to report, he/she is subject to loosing everything they have and being deported. To make things interesting, they will have to pull a country from a hat and whatever country is drawn is where they will be sent (kicked out of a plane with a parachute while we fly over).

We seal off the borders and make known that anyone crossing in any area except a designated port of entry will be captured or killed.

3. Advise the world that we officially no longer give a fuck.

Whatever your country’s problem is, we don’t care. We have our own issues to deal with and when we are done, we will let you know; maybe then we can help you out. We will make some exceptions for those countries that have done things in the past for us and continue to be our friends. This will be done on an as needed basis only.

If you threaten or attack the U.S., U.S. Citizens, U.S. Embassies, etc. your dumb ass is as good as dead, we don’t want to hear about martyrs or being killed in the name of any god or whatever. You and your family will be eliminated. If said actions are sponsored by a government, then the sponsoring country will be bombed until submission. That country will then be auctioned to the highest bidder.

1) Create a budget SURPLUS.
Tell everyone who has an outstanding debt to us, that hasn't made any signficiant contribution to our current war that they have exactly 90 days to come up with the money. They can pay in Money/Oil/Dead terrorists or assist in Iraq and Afgan... If they fail to do any of it, I destroy enough of your shit, to equal how much you owe us.

2) Reconfigure Military Aliances and troop placement.

France, Fuck you.
Germany, Good beer, but you can go to hell.
Anywhere we have troops, that is not Strategically important for us, we pull out of. Britain is the Exception. I'd also send notices that we will give countries what they want, we'll mind our own business.. But don't call us when the country we were fending off for you, decides to attack and rape/pillage/plunder your towns. As for the stationed troops, they'll be given practice at the Mexican border after the wall is constructed.

Only acceptions will be made on a case by case basis, based on country's who have given us aid in the past.

Also will send a message to Cuba stating the following..
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! WE WON'T WANT YOUR SHITHOLE COUNTRY. WE'RE NOT GOING TO ATTACK, WE JUST WANT YOU TO KEEP YOUR BOAT PEOPLE TO YOURSELF!!"

3) Secure the borders.
You want in? Do it legally. Prequesite, is you SHALL learn english before even being allowed in. For those that are all ready in that Don't know it.. You have 6 months. After that, failing to know english in this country is a Felony. Wall shall be built across the mexican border, with half a mile of mine field extending north of that wall. Along with rotational military training assignments there as well. Anyone who makes it across the minefield, and machine gun emplacements, and the god know's how many Marines down there... Shall be beaten, then deported.

Deportation policy... Illegals have 15 business days to make it to their closest INS facility for immediate deportation. You will be flown to the southern tip of South America, and pushed out of the back of a plane with a parachute, and 10 days of MRE's, and a knife. Survival beyond the 10 days is up to you. If you fail to report in the 15 days.. You will spend 5 years of Hard Labor picking agriculture crops for free, from federal prison. Afterwards, see first part of deportation policy.

4) Terrorism..
All countries that harbor terrorists have exactly 30 days to hand them over. No arguments, no political barganing, no politics... Do it, or we destroy your country starting with government facilities, and where ever we think they are hidden.
Iran- You will stop the nuke shit. Or you will be bombed back to the Stone Age.
North Korea- we'll just kill your leader if you don't start playing by the rules.

5) Anyone that kills an American as an act of terrorism or revenge against the government...
For every one of us you kill, we kill 200 of you. When we finally catch you, you will be tortured, killed, and then your corpse shall be cut up into chunks, and dropped from an airplane along with leaflets over the city you were found in. If this action is sponsored by a Government, you will be conquered, and your capital shall be burned to the ground, and your leadership will be executed. What's left of your country shall be made into a terrorist prison camp, sold to private american companies, just to remind you of what happened.

Since the topic of this thread is what I would do to solve the worlds problems?

probably nothing.. We have enough of our own, and too few country's care what we do for them. Fuck the world.

Easy, shoot Tony Blair and then myself. That would help sort most of the worlds problems with just two rounds. :D

30 days isn't nearly enough time. The only thing I would do in such a short of time period is abolish the IRS and enact the Fair Tax.

Although as frustrating as the middle east problem is, and I talk a lot of smack, I don't think nuking it is really the answer. Because there are many people over there who are good, hard-working people, and they just want a decent life for their family. Many of their soldiers fight out of fear from either their government or their "spritual leaders", not because they really want to.

I think the easiest solution would just to go head and claim the middle east as a US territory and begin setting up shop- but that's not politically correct.

On another unrelated, yet related topic, fixing problems at home is another thing that goes hand in hand. Getting serious on crime isnt a bad idea. I'm all for rights and civil liberties, but up to a point. Short of some sort of marial law, criminals nationwide would be put on notice that behavior like that is no longer tolerated.

Public canings? Loss of appendages for theft? Public executions? all of the above? Bring it on. You get caught and convicted, swift and immediate punishment. A few months of this nationwide would probably have a good effect on UCR stats.

I think jails/prisons should be fully self supporting. Prisoners should be getting up at the crack of dawn to milk the cows, plant the fields, churning butter, weaving cloth...you get the picture? Every waking moment would be spent providing for themselves. Any surplus would be sold, with proceeds going to the victims of their crimes.

Major restrictions on the amount of US money sent out of the country. The money sent by Mexicans living here is second only to oil income for the Mexican economy. Let's take away the incentive. Every other nation in the world restricts how much you can send out - we should too.

Stop ALL foreign aid to any country that doesn't openly support us.

I agree except for our long standing allies, to the rest of the world I would advise your now on your own. We will not come assist you unless certain pre-requisites are made.
1- You pay for the assistance we render to your country on a monthly basis.
2- You don't gripe complain or anything else in the manner in which we carry out the aid, you asked for the help now shut up.
3- You must be willing to assist in the aid we provide, in some way. We will not do it only on our own.

For Immigration;
1- Shore up the borders using the military and not just weekend warriors, I mean the real military (sorry if I offend)
2- We build a wall topped with electrified razor wire, and then have an inner perimeter of land minds, razor wire, and more electrified fence.
3- Anyone entering illegally will be shot on site.
4- Those entering legally for a visit, or student visa, or short work visa will be implanted with a tracking devise under their skin somewhere. If you don't like that idea you will be placed on a plane and sent back to your country.
5- Illegals here in this country now, will be given 120 days to report to any local Law Enforcement agency. There they will be evaluated as to their merits and past contributions. If deemed acceptable they will be implanted with the devise also. If not deemed acceptable you will be immediately deported, by any and all means available, and at your countries expense.
6- Any boats entering our waterways carrying people will be fired upon and we will no longer have the policy that if you feet touch soil you can stay.
7- Any country, person, or organization that doesn’t like these policies, may leave the country now. Go somewhere where the climate is more leftist for you, we don’t want to hear your complaining.
8- Any person who has made statements, or shown by action as not being American and supporting Americans will also be deported and citizenship will be stripped from you. Don't complain you obviously don’t like it here anyway.

Terrorists

1- You will stop all actions against America and our citizens, and our allies, NOW.
2- Failure to do so will bring the most severe reprocutions, and it will be done immediately.
3- Any country harboring Terrorists will be invaded, unless that country can show proof that they were not involved with the harboring of those fugitives. If found to be lying your ass is ours anyway we see fit.

This of course would be for starters. Next would come the assistance of our own people, before any other country!!

Find a watchtower, load my m1a and take out about 6 key, political names.

The others would learn very quickly to change the way they do things or leave the country.
