I have to get a vasectomy. I have heard a lot of horror stories and, quite honestly, I cringe at the thought of anyone with a razor-sharp piece of steel anywhere near my "happy place":noidea: . Anyone have any experience with this who can lend advice?:violin: :fear: :help:
Nite, let me tell you this, I chickened out 3 times all ready.
Check out www.vasectomy.com. They have a common fears and questions section. You'll be put under a local anesthestic so you don't feel anything. There's also a no-scalpel procedure...As far as advice (from a chick), just do everything your dr tells you and you should be fine.

The best advice I can give you is...
make sure to make it to your follow up visit after surgery.
If my father had made it to his follow up appointment, I wouldn't be here.
