..... I would turn my lights on and go about 100 on the interstate just to see what it feels like.
I believe if I had just graduated the academy and were sworn in, the first order of business is to buy my FTO coffee.
Probably exactly what I did on my first shift.... ride around thinking "Oh Lord don't let me screw anything up."
First order of business? Search one of the in-laws' house or stake out his house and catch him doing his illegal deeds. Then put the rest of the in-laws on notice that I won't tolerate any illegal activity from them whatsoever. And then enjoy the look on their faces.
Get dressed :noidea:
thank God that the academy was over :)
then try to not pee my pants on the first code 3 call I (we) ran to :D
but sam - I like your honesty :)
and ms1600 - damn good answer ;)
Good question. I guess I would just do my job and patrol the streets, but I don't know?
Man, I remember feeling like I was ready to take on the mafia, I though I was finally going to solve every cold case there was, I was the law and everyone was going to know it. I was itching for a call, I pulled more traffic stops that day then I have in my career combined. I thought I was going to solve all the worlds problems in one day. I was ready for it, had an attitude like, "I wish a MF'er would!!". Oh, how naive I was, but a better description of me was exactly like in this video. Didn't know how to talk to people and all I knew was I was the law and you WILL listen to me!!
THIS WAS SOOOOO ME!!! lol!!! :D
