Interesting. What would it show if a fire truck or ambulance has a signal override device?
How does it work for the colorblind?
I say if someone lives in a town with more than one stop light, which flashes orange/red all the time, it's time to move :biggrin1:
Interesting! The new walk signals installed here have the countdown, I like the idea for red lights, but yellows doing that will only have people racing even harder to beat them.
Change the stop light, and you'll have crashes. We already have enough people who can't figure 'em out and (at least in the US) they've been using the symbols since preschool.
I think they look cool....but that's about it.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't like it. Can you imagine the elderly trying to deal with this? I see them getting confused. Or how about the drugged drivers that are out there? Or the get-out-of-my-way drivers trying to beat the lights, I bet they'd love this.
If it is not broke....... It would be very very costly to change over all lights for no reason. It would also cause confusion to people and would cause more crashes in my opinion ~~`
I agree it looks cool, but I think the countdown would confuse people too much. "Do I have time to make it or not?"
I think it's cool! :thumb:
