Being 6' 4" and built like a brick outhouse , I've always found being a handsome devil helps.

I've given up on the "handsome devil" thing ever working out for me! Being 6'4' does have it's advantages, though.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

The outhouse part should be more than enough to convince people not to mess with you!

Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

I gave up on the 6'4" part over a foot ago, now I focus on not being the cop whose belly hangs out over his duty belt.

I try to always make sure the uniform is squared away, hygiene is proper. I do sometimes do just enough to get by when I've been up all night and have an 8:30 prelim. Sadly enough I always end up sitting next to the guy who was off last night and still looks like hell. Oddly enough my guys usually waive, but that guy, his always goes to hearing. Go figure.

You're not helping with the healing.
