Gotcha beat Chewey pre MK, EN-A School Groton Conn. 65 then to the 8th Stn New Orleans on the old steel 40 boats on the Mississippi River then to Station New Canal Light/SAR Stn. on Lake Ponchartrain where I was EN-3, JOOD and first up SAR coxswain as well as engineer. We had no BM's in our duty Section. Check it out on my web site below
