Having lived in the Florida Keys I have a great respect for Coasties. When I worked dispatch for the Sheriff's Dept. we coordinated with the CG quite often. When I transferred to be a Det. Deputy we occasionally had them come in to write supplimental reports with arresting Deputies. I have alot of respect for them.

My cousin's son got accepted in to the Coast Guard academy! That is a great accomplishment in itself, only take 300 freshman from all over the USA.
