    Defense Dept reserves right to respond to cyberattack with military force

    The Pentagon is ready to fight hackers with their own weapons in cyberspace, the newest domain for warfare but also “reserves the right” to respond to a cyberattack with military force, defense officials said Thursday.

With the current crowd in Washington, there would be committee meetings, conferences, trial balloons and numerous articles in the NY Times. administration spokesman would make the rounds to MSNBC, CNN and other news media (FOX omitted). If it was a Muslim Country (OOPs, a Mid Eastern/SE Asian country), the current President would side with them (as he said in his Writings (akin to MAO's Little red Book). It would be interesting as most of the foreign hackers were trained in US Universities.

    We have built up such an army, I don't think anyone would have a chance of taking us on in a traditional fight. If someone is intent on causing problems for us, it will be terrorist or cyber-warfare. Imagine the chaos if they managed to take down the internet.
