President Obama has beer with Marine before awarding him Medal of Honor

President Barack Obama enjoyed a beer with Dakota Meyer on the patio outside the Oval Office Wednesday. The president will present Meyer with the Medal of Honor Thursday during a ceremony at the White House.

When the idiot - - oops, I mean Nobama - - - called to advise him that he was going to be a recipient of the CMH, Meyer was at work (he's out of the Corps and doing construction work), he told Nobama that he was at work and if he wasn't working, he wasn't eating. He asked if Barry could call back when he was on his lunch break.

Barry called him back at lunch time.

Gotta LOVE that Marine. One of the few, the proud.

It says that Meyer requested the "beer meet". I've listened to this guy in an interview and he seems to have his head screwed on straight and is not afraid to speak his mind. I'd love to know what was said at the meet.

Apparently, since he told the POTUS that he didn't have time to talk to him.

(He must have a pair the size of Texas and made of stainless steel. Also evidenced by his actions in combat.)

Obama didn't seem happy presenting him with the medal. Maybe the Sgt told him whatfor.

Well, going back to my body language training that we do in interviews...

Meyer has his arms and legs open, palms facing the President. So whatever he's saying, he's being open and honest.

The President has his legs crossed and hands, while not clasped, are facing inward. Which means he's being guarded, or on the defensive. One could also speculate that whatever Meyer is telling him, he's not listening.

Oh, yes. I'm sure Obama has listened, to all his puppeteers and handlers. Especially the ones that have no idea how an economy work- such as Ben "Gold Is Not Money" Bernanke. But yeah...
