Cody Wilson, the 25-year-old founder ofDefense Distributed, is expected to release his controversial blueprint for the gun�called the "Liberator"�online this week, according to Forbes.

Today, while I was at work, I stopped off at a stop & rob to grab a drink. While I was filling my cup, a woman asked if I could help her with something. It seems her two kids (2 and 5 or so) have a tendency to get out of their seat belts, and she thought I could scare them into keeping them on. I said I'd help... but I did it in a different way.

See -- parents using cops to scare kids is not something I like at all. I don't need a kid in trouble being afraid to come to me for help. And I keep some stuff in my gear bag for these sorts of things. So... I went out, put my drink in the car, and pulled two jr. officer badges out, then went over to the woman's car.

Her husband was waiting in the car, and rolled the window down as I approached. I said hi, and introduced myself -- and then told them that their mommy said that they didn't always wear their seat belts. I said I'd make them a deal: they could have the jr. officer badges, but they had to promise to wear their seat belts.

Mission accomplished, without terrifying the kids.

Alternate title "The wife and kid are out of town"

Holy crap. My wife and son are out of town for a week. I have the week off, as I was going to go with them, but a slew of medical bills upcoming for my wife, myself, and both dogs led to the decision for me to stay here, and her and my kid stay at her parents house. Saves us on a third plane ticket, a hotel room, and boarding the two dogs and the cat. Saves us about a grand by me not going.

Anywho, my fat kid tendencies have really come out. I have eaten like crap. My only saving grace is I have been working out like a madman, knowing that I have to try to stem the weight gain from the junk I've eaten. Tonight, day 4 of being on my own, I finally cooked a meal of hotdogs and beans...........chased with two mint chocolate chip Klondike bars. I live too far away from the city to want to drive to an actual restaurant just to eat by myself, and I can't cook to save my life.

If it wasn't for my wife cooking dinner every night, I'd weigh 400lbs.

A lifetime first for me..........or
