This week I scored a Ruger Super Blackhawk with 8 inch barrel. It is one of the pre 1973 guns in which you must carry the hammer down on an empty chamber because it does not have a transfer bar. The weapon is in pristine condition...was owned by one of my Detective Sergeants who died not long ago. His wife wanted the guns to go to cops only. The Ruger is just gorgeous..will have some photos in a day or two. Gotta get some Grizzly ammo for it.
My 1911 just came back from Wilson Combat yesterday...what a great job they did on it. After all the work, they re-bead blasted it so the stainless no longer shines. Smooth as glass and beautiful to look at as well as shoot. Again, I will have pix soon.
