The FFL however was a very bad boy who sent me a picture of a nice looking pink and black AR for me to "think about." At this rate, I will have no money stashed away

Ummm not to offend Your Pinkness..........I imagine resale value on a pink handgun may not be all that high..... in certain markets.

Im the same way with handguns/rifles when it comes to resale.....
Once it's purchased....it's kept for life......
However, I'm sure You could find a buyer out here in L.A. if you were so inclined towards resale.....

I've carried a Sig as a duty weapon and I've carried a Glock as a duty weapon. Both are fine weapons and each has its own strength's and weaknesses. You can't go wrong with either one!

You are being very funny I think
My Dad lives in West Hollywood (well the border...off Doheny Drive) so you may be right -- there may be a market there
I think I would be scared to bring a gun to L.A. I'm going to leave my guns with a friend when I go visit my Dad. I think only my .357 and the .22 that I just ordered would be legal. Or would the XD and the Glock be if I got different magazines?Arm the sheep!

I think it's interesting how we all seem to get a sort of preference or loyalty to certain brands of things. I love my Glock and I had a hard time 'bonding' with my Springfield XD but I'm not sure how much of it had to do with the fact that I personalized my Glock pink with the Duracoat. If I Duracoat the XD, would I bond with it? It's not a bad gun at all, so I dont know.Arm the sheep!

Pinki, get another Glock, then your pink Glock will have a friend and won't get mad at you, then go to Cheapoair.com and find a reduced plane fare.
My dad, I miss him every day.
