That hot pink and black combination reminds me of MaryKay. I tried selling MaryKay cosmetics for a short period of time, didn't work...but yeah, everytime I see Hot pink and Black together thats the first thing that pops into my mind.

Nice gun tho. It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you aren't!

I shot a pink gun at a match once, just to shame the folks I knew I was going to beat

Cool, glad you got it put back together.
If the pink is a coating like DuraCote or something, be sure to find out which solvent Sig recommends!
I was putting a water based solvent called M-Pro7 on my S&W 22S bull barrel. It has almost completely removed the gray coating on the bull barrel, but not the gun frame. Go figure, Hoppes No 9 doesn't seem to remove it - Just the opposite of what I expected.

Thanks TXCharlie! I didn't even think about a solvent removing the color! I have no problems with my Duracoat on my Glock, but I can't remember if I used anything on the pink part of this Sig when I cleaned it. Thanks for letting me know, I'll try to find out if there's anything I shouldn't use (yes the pink is a coating).Arm the sheep!

I put another 50 rounds through it after my match today and it shot great and worked smoothly. I think even better than the first time I shot it. No jams. This little gun is a blast (literally and figuratively)!

NO NO NO Whats the world comming to - Colored guns; what kind of ammo they shoot, purtty pink bullets that kind of "kiss" ya ? Color coordinated guns to with your pink and light blue Chintz uniform and yellow pumps? I got some matte black spray paint I'll let ya have FREE.
Well, what ever turnes you on; Na, I'm old fashoned - either stainless or black (I perfer black).

I spray painted some ammo with that Orange Dayglo Paint. Funny, it didn't hurt the accuracy of the gun and finding the brass in the grass a lot easier. May have something there.
Ya know, we train sometimes with the "red man gun" so I'm going to suggest that we paint the ammo a bright orange. Our range is outside in the weeks and stuff so they may be easier to spot when we police up the brass.
The bosses may thnk I'm crazy about this; but then again they think I'm crazy now, so no big deal.

I was mostly kidding but I think that's a great idea! Did you think to spray paint the ammo just to find the brass more easily or were you just being funny? It doesn't affect the gun any at all? I wonder if Duracoat would be better than spray paint?
Hey, we need to go partners on this and make some money
