MY New Rifle...
My turn!! I picked up a new Ruger Mini-30 last week! WOO HOO! It's the same as the Mini-14, but in 7.62x39 (think AK47 rounds). I have not had a chance to fire it yet though. I can't wait!

I picked up a couple of 10 round mags for it (apparently the last 2 the place had). That 5 round mag it comes with is simply too small.

I'm going to have to make you cry, and take a picture of my DPMS Panther 308 LR. they won't let me carry it on patrol, but sometimes I forget to take it out of the patrol car after going to the range....hehehe I can knock the cherry off a blunt at 100 yards with my 4X scope. I shot fifty rounds at fifty yards the other day, and just left one big hole in the head area of a BL21. Ear to ear. Thugs are like deer, you might get a 200 yard shot every once in a while, but most of the meat that goes in the freezer is from 50 yards or less.
The six o'clock ruleI tell them to act according to the six o'clock rule, a phrase that causes most of them to say, "Huh?"
I tell them to use this little test before they decide to do something. If they were to do what they're thinking about, and it became the lead story on the six o'clock news, would they be proud? Would their department be proud, and would their family be proud? It's a simple way to live your life both personally and professionally.
