Finally! I now own a Luger.
Local gunshop had one in stock. It's a 1916 Erfurt model. It's in very good condition. I'll be shooting it either Monday or Tuesday. It was on consignment and the seller was only asking $700 for it. I was suprised, but I field stripped it and checked it out. Everything is working and in very good shape. All serial numbers match. I traded a Glock 19 and a S&W 586 for it. I've been wanting a Luger for many many years. This was an opportunity. I was willing to part with those two models if it meant getting a Luger.
I'm happy.

Thanks. I've also been surfing Numrichs site. Lots of Luger parts for sale there. Since I saved money by trading for the Luger now I can spend money on the bells and whistles.

Hey, be careful using modern 9mm ammo. You could wind up with some big problems. As with any WWII weapons, have a GOOD gunsmith give it a good going over. The newer ammo has higher chamber preasures and it could blow up and, its WWI, thats right WWI technology. Just a word of caution. Enjoy your pistol
