I apologize if I have violated a rule of etiquette, it certainly wasn't my intent.

I am a new to this whole world of "bulletin boards". I am not a computer guy, I am a radio guy. As for my status in the community, I am a Dispatcher for a little podunk police department in the St. Louis Metro area, and our department just switched over to 800MHz digital trunked rendering this radio a paperweight to me, and I thought maybe someone could get good use of this equipment.

Again, I am sorry for being so presumptious.

I hope not. Mostly what I am used to is just a bunch of Political infighting. The only time it seems to stop is when an officer is down, and then only cuz the board moderator kills everything and only posts condolences and funeral arrangements.

I've been programming radios a long while now - it gets old.
