It's not magic.
We have an abundance of basil, sage and tarragon.
These all make a great pesto sauce.
Basil leaves picked and ready

Recipe
1 cup fresh leaves (choice of, basil, tarragon, or sage)
1 cup fresh parsley leaves
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup toasted nuts (we have been using almonds)
2 cloves fresh garlic
3/4 cup olive oil

We made 3x this recipe. Place half of the parsley and basil leaves in the food processor followed by the salt, pepper, cheese, garlic, toasted nuts and then the rest of the herbs.

Turn on food processor and drizzle in the olive oil.

We like using the basil pesto on pizza. Toss it with pasta or veggies. The sage pesto goes well with pork or chicken. Tarragon pesto is nice on fish.
