PREVIEW: 2010 Holiday Meals

It is time again to start menu planning for the upcoming holidays!

The whole ribeyes are not as big this year. I usually look for 20+ lbs. This week the USDA Choice or higher whole ribeyes are $5.99/lb., they are not going to be lower this year. The heaviest box is yielding nothing bigger than 15 lbs.

Two roasts for the Xmas Prime Rib and a few steaks. Notice the perfect marbling. This is midwest grain fed beef.

These will be seasoned and dry aged for one of the Xmas holiday meals. A few of the steaks are going on the grill tonight!
