I'm not a fancy cook like Buttercup or Imgreat, but I do enjoy cooking, so I thought I'd throw a few recipes up here too.
This recipe is pretty quick and easy to throw together, and nothing special in the way of ingredients. Especially good for if you have a large family, or maybe are hosting a brunch.
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup dried raisins or craisins
1) preheat oven to 350
2) mix oats, brown sugar cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Beat in milk, eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract. Stir in raisins/craisins. Spread in 9x13 glass dish (ungreased).
3) Bake for 40 min
I like to sub some cinnamon with other like spices, like nutmeg. Also, walnuts go pretty good in it too,
