McDonalds #14 Angus burger, with cheese, no pickles, no mayo, fries and a Powerade.
The better half picked up all the fixings for my stuff portabella mushrooms, large portabellas stuffed with pork sausage, oysters, breading, garlic, egg, and a bunch of seasonings and the stems chopped as the ingredients, bake for a bit and broil to finish to get a nice crust on the top

By choice, my gf has cooking assignments she brings home. The two accounts they cater to have a high population of vegetarians. The weekend lineup usually includes some kind of Indian bean or potato filling to make vegetarian quesadillas. Of course she makes about 1.5 gallons of chutney and some sort of spiced vegetable topping that goes inside of the quesadilla.
We each taste and sort out what we think needs to be added. This usually becomes our meal. It's all part of quality control!

All weekend long the smell of cinnamon, cumin, asoefatida, onion, garlic fills the house. We love it!
Tonight was cast iron grilled chicken breasts, whole wheat rotini pasta (with a sauce of red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar with pomegranate, sun dried tomato paste, and basil) and green peas.

this evening the weather should be crappy so my wife will be making country fried steak and mash taters and gravy.
Grill the breasts a little slower, just to about 170 degrees, should come out a little more tender than cast iron... :DQuote:

last night my wife made oven fried chicken, baked mac & cheese, and homemade buttermilk biscuits. out freakin standing. my son has been watching to many cooking shows because he told her it was spot on.
