    Super Bowl Treats

I very rarely do or cook anything special for Super Bowl Sunday but one year I had, among other things, a hot dog/sausage bar with about a dozen or so common to more nontraditional toppings. It's very low maintenance for the host, you don't have to spend much time away from your guests.

What are your Super Bowl recipes or ideas?

How about putting all your snacks in a big bowl and calling it the "Super Bowl"?

This is a staple at all our parties. VERY easy and damn good too.

Such as what? I can see the usual mustard, ketchup, mayo, sour krout stuff. What else would you use? I really like this idea for a get together.

The usual suspects for hot dogs, Italian sausage, bratwurst, and - catsup, relish, chopped onions, sauerkraut, and:

several mustards (yellow, spicy brown, Dusseldorf, violet, Dijon)
    fried peppers and onions
    fried potatoes
    marinara sauce
    salsa
    mango salsa
    celery salt
    chili
    shredded cheese
    sport peppers
    jalapenos
    dill pickles
    tomatoes
    chili

Italian hot dogs and sausage & peppers are pretty common and popular around here, chili dogs are always good, and I like Chicago-style dogs so I made sure that those items were around.

The tentative pizza line up (4)

I will be making a green pizza sauce (Green Bay!) and our own new york style pizza crust.

Buffalo Chicken - chicken breast, maytag bleu cheese, diced celery on top of a Lousiana Buffalo sauce.

Pepperoni - Spicy Green Bay pizza sauce with hand sliced pepperoni, topped with a mozzarella asiago cheese blend

Sausage - Spicy Green Bay pizza sauce with my homemade Italian sausage, topped with a mozzarella asiago cheese blend

THE PGG SPECIAL - Everything but the kitchen sink! (pork, beef, chicken and whatever else a carnivore would love). My cranberry bbq sauce topped with sharp cheddar cheese
