Keurig Brewing System
Keurig Elite Single-Cup Brewing System - Walmart.com
Anyone own one of these? Thoughts, opinions? Is it worth the money. How about the coffee refills, they seems slightly pricey are they worth it. Thinking of buying one with my tax return. Want to make sure it's something I'd want to invest 100 bucks in.
Thanks! :D

Don't have one but we considered getting one a while back. We just drank so much coffee at the time it would have cost us a mint to stay in coffee. Now, since we both quit smoking, we aren't drinking any coffee any more. The Chantix made the coffee taste terrible and upset my stomach so I quit drinking it in December.

I don't have one, but think about how seriously you take your coffee and how important the convenience would be to you. I can see where there would be definite advantages to having a single cup brewing system - you can get your coffee right away and easily switch to decaf or a different type of coffee.

i bought my fiance the platinum edition for christmas. she uses it every single morning and i use it about once every other day. the funny thing is that before i bought it i wasnt even a coffee drinker. some of the blends are REALLY good and not only that but you can also make hot chocolate and chai tea with it

I have one and it is a great way to brew coffee or tea. No mess and no leftovers. Very quick and all you have to do is push a button and drop in a small coffee/tea/chocolate cup of your choice. Have not compared the cost but the convenience is well worth it to us.
Car 4;)

My wife has one and she uses it every morning. (I dont drink coffee.) She loves it and swears by it. Very convenient and easy to use. You can also get a reusable "K" cup and use your own coffee in it. I think that it might even come with the machine. If not, it is well worth it to buy it and use your own coffee to save on costs. She even uses some twice.

Hmmmm sounding better and better.

Do they all fit a travel size mug or just the more expensive ones?

I have one, it has changed the way we drink coffee.
Worth it!

Worth it here too. The "drip pan" slides out of the way for taller travel side cups. If you keep drinking regular coffee, get the reusable filter. The variety you can get though is great. I don't drink coffee, my wife does, but I've been using it a lot this winter for easy hot chocolate.

From my experience, the single cup version isn't the way to go.
Go with the multi-cup and multi-size system. You can use it to fill everything from a little mug to a large travel cup.

Made the purchase!!! Bought the Platinum at Kohls today, it was on sale, opened a Kohls charge so got an additional 15% (which of course I'll just promptly pay when I get the bill, so improve my credit :) ) and got 30$ worth of Kohls cash back that I can go spend starting on Monday. Hella of a deal!
I don't know who likes it more me or Kai. LOL.

I just picked one up after work last night to suprise my wife for her Birthday. I don't drink coffee often, but I'm kind of into this thing, I may just start drinking more.
Aside from what's already been posted, any helpful tips for this thing? What's your favorite brew(s)?

This thread is awesome. We've been contemplating getting one ourselves since we rarely drink a full pot on weekdays and end up pouring a lot down the drain. After reading this I think we'll bite the bullet and do it.

I should get one but my wife might kill me if bring one more coffee making device in the house. I have a french press, a Chemex pot, a small drip pot and a Mr Coffee type machine. I love coffee and I use the different devices for different purposes/flavors.

We have one at the office with the multiple cup sizes. Pure awesomeness. I get the cups from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
