Chicken Noodle Soup: cont'd
The chicken.
1 whole chicken (this recipe actually uses 1/2 chicken, the extra meat is for another meal)
water
Cook in crock pot for 8 hours.
Place in fridge overnight.

Skim fat off top and save.
De-bone the chicken and place bones back in crock pot. Cook for 4 more hours. Strain bones out of the broth.

4 carrots sliced thin
1 1/2 onions fine dice
4 stalks celery sliced thin.
skimmed chicken fat
1/2 cup ap flour
In a large stock pot, place skimmed fat, and veggies. Saute until onions are translucent. Add flour and cook about 2 minutes longer.
Add chicken stock from crock pot and about 5 cups water. Simmer about 15 minutes. Add noodles and chicken meat. Cook another 10-12 minutes or until noodles are done.
Serve with fresh rolls and butter

Mom's Rice Krispy Baked Chicken
1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces
1 stick of butter, melted
2/3 box of Rice Krispies, fine crush
salt and pepper
Dip chicken pieces in melted butter and roll in crushed Krispies. Salt and pepper to taste.
Breaded

Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
