Carne Asada
Carne asada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Marinade
4 cloves garlic
2 serrano peppers
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 bunch of cilantro, rough chop
kosher salt and black pepper
juice of 2 limes
2 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup olive oil

Place all in food processor except olive oil.

Drizzle olive oil in while processor runs.

Dredge 2 lbs of 1/4 inch sliced bottom round through the marinade and place in bowl.


Place in fridge for 2 or three hours (I did this at 6 a.m. today. We are grilling at 7pm.)To Live Is To Eat

Whole Cumin Tortillas
I added 2 Tbsp whole cumin to my basic bread recipe.
5 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups hot water (110 degrees)
1 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp whole cumin
6-7 cups bread flour
This makes approximately 16 - 6 inch tortillasTo Live Is To Eat
