Black Garlic
I just happened to get 6 heads of black garlic today at a great price. They let me sample this first. It reminded me of a soft molasses candy with a lite hint or garlic.

We will try this a few different ways. Possibly this scallop recipe.

You can make your own black garlic by taking regular garlic and sticking it in a 150 degree oven (or similar, wonder if a crock pot would work) for 40 days. Just make sure the humidity stays up, you don't want them to dry out.

Black garlic is sweet meets savory, a perfect mix of molasses-like richness and tangy garlic undertones. It has a tender, almost jelly-like texture with a melt-in-your-mouth consistency similar to a soft dried fruit.
