The ribs would have been some of the best I have except they dumped a ladel full of sauce on them right before they handed them to me. They did not ask if I wanted sauce. The ribs were actually very good.

It really was not that bad. Basic funnel cake batter with lost of cinnamon. The final product was more like a hot buttered cinnamon roll. I did get some other pics of said butter. The vendor said they were selling about 100/hour.Quote:

Oliver Regal of Regal Concessions
Oliver and two others work the Iowa State Fair. Oliver has 27 years of experience with concessions. He gives credit to his Dad for getting him started. Regal Concessions has a new crab fritter stand that Oliver hopes to bring next year. The Crab Fritter stand is appearing at the Minnesota State Fair.

The beer was a great choice for the food. The real disappointment was the shrimp poppers. I expected a cream cheese/jalapeno/shrimp combo. This was minced shrimp with some unidentifiable hi temp cheese. The hot sauce made up for the misleading popper name.
