This year we are growing swiss chard and collard greens. I picked each down. We have a baby bath tub that we use to wash the greens.
I use the garden hose to spray both sides off as I place them in the tub.

Washed and brought inside to process.

I inspect and clean as needed. The collards are separated from the main stem. We start at the top and pull each side of the leaf off.

Stack the leaves and roll. Slice lengthwise and chop into 1/2 inch slices. (The chard does not need the stem removed)

Blanch leaves.
