You have just flung the worlds largest craving on me. I know without a doubt what supper is going to be one of the next couple of nights. JLK, those peppers look great and some grilled peppers would be great with greens and cornbread.

that is why i cooked them on the grill. the steaks are cooking on the other side of the grill.

yes you are correct they not really a veggie but instead a fruit due to the fact that contain seeds and is product from the flowering part of the plant. but stating that i like fruits just did not seem right.

I grilled some more “fruits” Saturday, ghost, habanero, thai, jalapeno, but mostly tabasco peppers. I let them bath in a little olive garlic and sea salt before hitting the grill. I put them in the dehydrator and ground them up last night. My question is how long will it keep? Note to self: wash hands a minimum of 10 times prior to going to the restroom next time.

That is an awesome blend! It should keep for at least a year (and possibly longer) if you store it sealed under optimum conditions (a cool, dry environment).

Learned a lesson in handling peppers, did you?

Next time, wear gloves!
