Apple Pie moonshine
Anyone ever had it?
I'm planning on making a batch over my days off. Since I no longer live in Virginia, I have to substitute Everclear for the actual shine.The world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
At communion, when the priest says "Body of Christ", I say "Thanks, I've been working out", then I grab the cracker and run back to my seat
An amateur practices until he gets it right. A professional practices until he cant get it wrong.

Well lookee there. That's about the same recipe I'm going to use, except with all white sugar instead of a mix of white and brown.

Cidp24 posted recipe is great. i add a little extra everclear. i cant keep it in the house. a couple of weeks me and a buddy made three gallons. we drank a gallon, he went home with a gallon (which is gone) and the wife and i finished off the last.

this is what i use ducky
APPLE PIE
1 gallon of apple juice
1 gallon of apple cider
1 1/2 cups of white sugar
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
8 cinnamon sticks
1 liter of 190 Proof Grain Alcohol, Ever clear or equivalent.

I found a variant that I'm trying. The original listed amounts but I'm a big believer of doing things to taste, so here's the basic ingredient list.
Apple cider
Apple juice
Whole cloves
Cinnamon sticks
Dark brown sugar
White sugar
Everclear

Holy cow that stuff is good. It even makes the pain of a near concussion fade. (Whanged my head on the underside of the freezer door and spent the next few minutes laying in the floor, conscious and alert but pissed off.)
